Privacy and cookies

Tetiana Barbashyna, trading as Telavento, is responsible for the personal information used to run this shop. Contact support@telavento.com, +44 7931 563393 or 24 Parkers Mount, Kirkbymoorside, YO62 6JB, United Kingdom for privacy requests.

We use your name, contact and delivery details, bag contents, order, payment status and correspondence to take steps you request before purchase and to fulfil our contract with you. We keep financial records to meet legal obligations. We use limited security and access logs and records of complaints to protect the shop, prevent abuse and resolve disputes, based on our legitimate interests.

If you ask about an unavailable item, we use your details to answer that request. If you choose the upcoming-jackets notification, we use your email for that specific notification with your consent. You may withdraw consent by contacting us. This is not consent to a general marketing newsletter. We do not sell your personal information.

Stripe processes payment details and fraud checks; we receive payment references and status, not your full card number. Resend delivers service emails and sends replies from our support address. Royal Mail receives the delivery details needed to carry your parcel. Our website is hosted on a Contabo server in the EU, and Cloudflare provides site security and forwards emails sent to support@telavento.com to our support inbox in Google Gmail. Authorised shop staff can access the records needed for their work.

Some service providers process information outside the UK. Where required, transfers must be covered by an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can contact us for details of the providers and the safeguards relevant to your information.

We retain required business and tax records for at least five years after the 31 January filing deadline for the relevant tax year, and longer if a legal obligation or unresolved claim requires it. For launch, our retention procedure requires a review of routine enquiries for deletion 12 months after closure, unless they form part of an order or dispute. An upcoming-collection notification is retained until it is sent or you withdraw consent, with a review after 12 months. We assess deletion requests individually and retain only information needed for legal obligations or ongoing claims.

The shop uses necessary bag and order-access cookies, normally for up to seven days, and session storage to let you see your order confirmation securely. Protected preview access may use a separate access cookie. Stripe may use necessary payment and fraud-prevention storage when you open payment. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the bag or payment from working.

Only if you choose Accept marketing, we load Meta Pixel to measure visits, product views, additions to the bag, checkout starts and confirmed purchases, and to help us improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta receives browser and device information, IP address, eligible page addresses and referrer information, advertising identifiers, product codes, quantities, currency and order value. We do not deliberately send your checkout contact details, delivery address, payment details or private order-access links to the Pixel. Automatic advanced matching and automatic events are turned off.

Meta provides the Pixel and may link activity to your Meta account and process it outside the UK. Its privacy and cookie information is at facebook.com/privacy/policy/ and facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies/. The Pixel may use _fbp and _fbc cookies and Meta's own cookies, whose retention is described in that cookie information. Advertising measurement is optional and based on your consent; rejecting it does not affect shopping or payment.

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to accept or reject marketing. We remember your choice for up to 180 days, keep a limited browser record of measured purchases for up to 180 days to prevent duplicates, and keep an unfinished checkout measurement reference in session storage for up to 24 hours. Rejecting marketing stops future Pixel events and removes our first-party _fbp and _fbc cookies and these optional measurement records. It does not erase information already received by Meta or cookies set on Meta's own domains; you can manage those through Meta and your browser settings.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or, where applicable, a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. We do not make our own solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Providing delivery and contact details is necessary to process an order; without them we cannot fulfil it. Please do not send card details or unnecessary sensitive information in a message.
